My Approach

The approach I take to working with my clients is anchored in empathy, honesty, and targeting what is at the root of complex issues. Wounds received in our pasts can result in issues such as codependency, relationship issues, addiction issues, and many forms of compulsive behaviors.

Our natural defenses can prevent us from seeing our truth. My specialized training in different therapeutic modalities allows me to create tailored programs that support the individual needs and circumstances of my clients.

I see and maintain focus on the person and not the pathology.

Experiential Therapy

“Show me, don’t tell me.”

Experiential therapy is vastly different from talk therapy. Instead of using only words to discover, express, and heal issues, we will engage in action based activities and experiences. This can look like many things; drawing, sculpting, role-play, etc.. Psychodrama utilizes roleplay and human energetic connection to help people correct old messages and create new beliefs about themselves and the world around them.

Action physically stimulates emotional connection and catharsis. Emotion lives in the body, in every cell. When we move the body emotion can be released, helping us to see, understand, and process the events of our lives.
